An American hunting in the north woods, along with his guest, a Scotsman
in America for the first time.
At one point, a large animal thrashed across their field of vision.
The American, caught by surprise, had no time to take aim and fire, and
the Scotsman, startled, said, "What was that?"
"A moose," said the disappointed American.
"A moose!" cried the Scotsman. "Are you serious! If that was a moose,
then I dinna care to see one o' your r-r-r-rats!"
