Explosive exit for deceased
A woman's cremated remains have been blasted into the air as part of a
spectacular fireworks display in accordance with her dying wish.
The remains of the woman, who was in her mid-30s when she died of an
incurable disease, were packed into 15 large rockets and let off during
a party thrown by family and friends last Sunday.
Jon Culverhouse, managing director of Fantastic Fireworks, which
supplied the explosives, said it was the most bizarre request he had
ever received.
The order for the fireworks was made by a best friend of the dead woman.
