While researching a business name for myself in Brooklyn, I came across
the Jun Kee Auto Repair Shop. I wonder how much business they get.


In Chinese, meaning often depends on variation in pitch, which is hard
for Westerners to hear, much less speak.  

A Chinese friend told the story of an American missionary whose
painfully learned "Our Father who art in Heaven..." came out "My pants
are in the field." 

He had no idea why his congregation cracked up at the Lord's Prayer.
