A couple won a contest. First prize is a week at the Watergate Hotel in
Washington. When they get to their suite, the bride is acting very
nervous.
"What's wrong, darling?" the husband asks.
She says, "This is the Watergate Hotel. Maybe this place is still
bugged."
He looks behind the curtains, behind the shade, picks up the carpet and
spots a disk with four screws. He removes the screws and the disk and
puts them away.
The next morning the manager knocks on the door.
"Good morning, Mr. and Mrs. Welzer. How do you like the suite?"
The man answers, "Beautiful!"
The manager looks nervous. "How did you like the dinner, the caviar and
the champagne we sent you?"
The man answers, "Wonderful, but why are you asking me so many
questions?"
The manager says, "Just checking, the couple in the room below
complained the chandelier fell on them!"
